Education is a lifeline to children in emerging countries, especially in Uganda, a nation in which two thirds of the population does not finish primary education. Fields of Dreams Uganda is committed to investing in the education of the children we serve. For the thousands of vulnerable children at our partner schools, we devote countless hours inspiring, training, and preparing them for their futures. Our work supports the following:

 

• Technology equipment and training, including laptops, projectors and internet access

• Annual education grants to support our individual partner schools

• Primary, secondary and university scholarships

• Primary Leaving Exam (PLE) test preparations

• Administration of DREAMS plans to assist children with recognizing and achieving their future goals

• Distribution of hygiene kits to female students and teachers

• Teacher workshops and support from local facilitators

• Study tours across Uganda to expose children to the world beyond their village.
