The purpose of the FoDU 5K for hope is to raise funds for our ongoing work across Uganda that serve over 5,000 students and teachers at our nine partner schools. Education in Uganda is not free, and the funds raised from this year's event will assist in bolstering our Ekisa Scholarship Fund. We currently have just under 400 students enrolled in our scholarship fund, and we hope through this year's race to add to that number. We are proud that all students at our partner schools are blessed by our programming in the areas of technology, sports, character development, hygiene support, music and education.
