Fields of Dreams Uganda's work is carried out by our dedicated staff, board members on both sides of the world and our invaluable advocates. FoDU Advocates are a key part of our volunteer team — think of them as "super volunteers."

FoDU Advocates commit to serving the children of Uganda through supporting our campaigns and spreading our message throughout their communities.



Advocates commit to some of the following:

• Engaging their circle of influence for the sake of the Ugandan child

• Attending quarterly training calls

• Participating in our annual campaigns

  • Strength Through Sports Online Auction (February)

  • Hoops for Hope March Madness Bracket Challenge (March)

  • Power Their Potential (May)

  • Holiday Hygiene Drive (December)

• Participating in the FoDU 5K for Hope (October)

  • Committing to run/walk/participate at one of our race hubs or as a satellite runner

  • Recruiting friends, family and your community to participate with you

• Hosting one event in their local community annually

  • To share FoDU's work with your circle of influence (House Event, Happy Hour for Hope Event, Gear Drive, Trip Recruitment Event or any other general fundraiser that you can dream up)

FoDU's advocates are not alone; our Executive Director, Board of Directors and fellow advocates are always available to use as a resource or a sounding board and to provide encouragement.
