This #GivingTuesday, it is our goal to give you an opportunity to be a part of the WHOLE solution. We at Fields of Dreams Uganda know that handing out hygiene supplies is only PART of what needs to be done to help girls manage their monthly periods. Research shows that if girls don’t have a safe, private place to take care of their hygiene needs, a hygiene kit can only do so much. 

 

Today, we invite you not only to provide a girl in need with a hygiene kit, but to help give her a safe, private place to use it. Today, we invite you to be a part of a whole solution. Today, we invite you to help us build a changing room. 

 

Over the past two years, Fields of Dreams Uganda has constructed changing rooms on seven out of eight of our school campuses. This year, we’re going to make sure that eighth campus is covered. AND we’re going to go BACK to our school with the largest population and construct a second, larger changing room. 

 

• At Nabukalu Primary School in central Uganda, where a new classroom is every bit as needed as their first changing room, we’re going to build one structure that serves as both, addressing both needs at once. Your support today gives us that opportunity. ($5,000; the additional $7,000 needed for the construction of this changing room has already been raised!)
   

• At Pageya Primary School in northern Uganda, with a student population of more than 1000, we plan to construct a bigger, better changing room to more adequately address the needs of the larger population. Your support today makes that possible. ($7,000)
